I'm Ash, Senior Designer for BBC iPlayer’s Image Design Studio, responsible for creative design leadership and studio direction, managing a team of designers and picture editors. In collaboration with BBC Creative and BBC Studios, we are responsible for the delivery of programme imagery and artwork on iPlayer and third party platforms.
I’m a creative designer experienced on high profile projects across each stage of the design process, from enjoying meeting with clients and concept creation through to managing production and delivery. I've worked with some incredible independent studios in London, a large marketing and advertising agency and in-house for global organisations at senior level.
At the heart of my work is a love of storytelling – intelligent imaginative ideas, the relationship between word and image, and audience engagement. I love using bold colours and shapes, discovering incisive simplicity, consistently applied to visualise and support navigation of complex ideas and architecture.
